The boisterous atmosphere of the fair, filled with chatter and music, made the young lady with rabbit ears not able to hold herself to not sway to tune slightly. It is such a shame that she was unable to prepare some proper outfit for the occasion but she won't let that dampened her mood. Lyssa decides to let out all of her pokemon; Absol, Lopunny, and Scorbunny so they can enjoy the fair with her. Like she would have expected, Absol quickly goes to the quiet corner and remain there while glancing in the direction of Alyssa once in a while, Scorbunny bolts off full of energy and hopping around following the beat, and Lopunny is staring around gracefully filled with curiosity while following Scorbunny from behind but Lyssa able to see the tail behind her sway happily.

"The beat makes you want to dance, eh' Lo~ Let's dance!" Lyssa talks to her lopunny and starts to display quick and sharp movements without missing a beat from the tune of a small band. The lopunny and Scorbunny follow her movement making them the back dancer. Despite the speed that she displays, people still can see the grace of her movements and the story that she wants to tell throughout her movement - the story of what the music wants to tell. People start to look at the impromptu performance of Lyssa. Her dance is a mix of quick movements and slow movements, making it easy to follow and keep people entertained. Once the dance is over, everyone is clapping while Lyssa is wiping her sweats - She waves her hand with a smile as a gesture of appreciation.

"The dance is so much fun, phew... But I need drink now, I am parched" Lyssa talks and goes to buy some drinks.

The princely Kee watched as others had fun. His Tyrunt eventually started dancing with a Lopunny and Scorbunny. The main person, what he assumed to be their trainer, gave everyone a performance to remember. Tyrunt jumped for joy before joining Kee, who had gotten some Pokemon food specifically for her. The trainer herself left to get some drinks. Though there wasn't really any seats left aside from his table. "Feel free to sit down here. That was quite the performance." Kee was no slouch either. But his experience with his school's ensemble, and the pain in the butt it was, pretty much made him say no to the idol scene. Even though he could easily fit in there with both his dance moves and his singing.

Tyrunt gave a happy growl like noise and started to bounce a bit. It made Kee chuckle. "Aw...Tyrunt loved it. Plan on doing any more impromptu performances? Oh, and where are my manners, sorry. I'm Keenan. Nice to meet you!" The amber eyed, five foot eight teenager gave her a warm smile as Tyrunt gave her and her Pokemon a cute salute with her tiny arms. "I've never been to one of these before, have you?"

A moment of search, she found her solace amongst the crowded places - A bright young man offers her to share a sit with him which she gracefully accepts. "Indeed it is, the song and the bands really help" Lyssa muses. Lyssa is by no means humble nor arrogant, a proper balance between those two creates a healthy pride in what she is doing. The young man's partner seemingly wants to share her joy by growling and bouncing happily. Seeing her bouncing like that, Agni jumps down and bounces together with her creating joyful cries from his voice. "It seems that my friend comes to like your Tyrunt" Lyssa giggles.

"My name is Eylyssa Kay but you can call me Lyssa. That scorbunny is called Agni while this Lopunny is called Thalia" Lyssa introduces herself and her entourage. She gently waves toward the Absol from distance, she strolls at their position. "Also, this is my last partner, Khione. We often travel around and dance, either impromptu one like earlier or a planned one for video. Here is my channel if you are interested" Lyssa does a bit shameless self-promote on her own channel in a certain video sharing site. The channel itself is filled with her dance cover with various dance choreography - All of them filled with a joyous expression from either Lyssa or the other pokemon.

"I have come to know some fairs and hear about it but this is my first time visiting this kind of place" Lyssa confess. It was unthinkable for her to visit this kind of place back in Alola as she was a bird in a cage back then. "From the looks of it this is your first time to be here too. Do you want to look around the place together since we have met?"

That they did. The lady's Scorbunny seemed to join his Tyrunt. It was pretty cute, and joined the lady's giggling. Then she introduced herself and her Pokemon. Including a cool Absol. But she was a travelling performer of sorts, usually dancing for videos. Curious, he took a look at her channel. Just a brief look made him slightly envious...but at the same time...he really didn't want to do that again. Smiling, he nodded. "Yeah. Let's go." With that, off they went, with at least Tyrunt on his heels. The first event was a sword fighting booth, with trained Honedges and Aegislash and instructors. Yeah, that was a big nope from him. Cool to watch and see, but definitely not his forte.

The falconry show on the other hand...that was cool. It wasn't just Braviary either. If it flew, it was there. Aside from dragon-types. They did ask for some volunteers for a show as well. Kee couldn't help but hold up his hand. Both he and Lyssa were picked. With him being called the prince. They soon learned some basics, and fed a few of the birds. Then they were asked to be a part of a small show for the crowd. Kee, of course, gave a huge absolutely. Luckily, all they had to do was simple gestures and motions, as well as being staging points for their lighter birds, namely Spearow and Pidgey. As simple as it was, it was entertaining. And Tyrunt kept Agni occupied. Though Tyrunt's attention did turn towards a mini-tournament. A Pokemon battle tournament to be precise.

Keenan is a wonderful guide despite being new in this place like her, Lyssa follows her with a smile. They pass the sword fighting arena - Lyssa at first quite interested in trying the sword but looks like Keenan has another opinion as they go directly to the falconry where Lyssa is able to mingle with the birds. The Spearow and Pidgey that find their way to rest on her hand make Lyssa giggle with joy, the giggle comes out from the sheer happiness to be close to a cute pokemon such as them and the ticklish feeling that she gets from the claw that gently digs the specialized glove. Agni who has been playing around with Tyrunt seems not to lose on the term of enjoying the fair together with Tyrunt. Lyssa noticed that the Tyrunt gazes in a particular direction - The pokemon fight arena.

"Do you think what I am thinking right now?" Lyssa asks Keenan as she nudges her chin forward to point to the direction where Tyrunt has been looking at. When Khione noticed the place that Lyssa and Tyrunt have been pointing at, she quickly shows enthusiasm. "Well, at least one of us here is already eager to be there. Would you mind having a battle with me, Keenan?" Lyssa asks Keenan for a pokemon battle.

Kee followed Lyssa's pointed chin raise. And what his Tyrunt was looking at. A tournament? The Absol also started to look enthusiastic. "Sure. I could use the experience." His mind started to go through Tyrunt's capabilities. She wasn't the fastest, but could intercept well enough. If Lyysa was going to use Absol, two of Ty's attacks wouldn't do much. Though much better than normal because of her strong jaw ability. Bite and Crunch were very powerful on her. Otherwise, she had tail whip to lower defense, roar, which would be useless here, Ancient Power, and Tackle. His odds weren't terrible he guessed. It just depended on how good Lyssa was.

He registered for the tournament. Sort of. It wasn't a tournament, just an arena for small scale Pokemon battles. They also had a Pokemon nurse nearby to heal between battles. They could do single and double battles, and choose how many Pokemon to use. Thinking about it, Kee registered for two Pokemon. "I'm going to register for two Pokemon each, single battle. If that's alright with you?" He was going to use Charjabug in addition to Tyrunt. Should be interesting anyways.

As Keenan is busy registering for them, Lyssa plays around with Khione and Agni a little bit until Keenan calls for her. "I wouldn't mind but instead of this fella for the second battle" Lyssa trails off for a bit while pointing at Agni. "I want my other pokemon to have an experience in a fight. So, I want Siren to be my second pokemon" Lyssa let her Primarina out. Since this is two single battle and not a duo battle - Thalia get time to rest. After that, she proceeds to register Khione the Absol and Siren the Primarina as the pokemon that she will use for the battle.

After that, they got guided to the arena and show their position to start the battle. In the first battle, Lyssa decides to pick Khione first as she is also eager to fight. However, before the fight - Lyssa decides to have a talk face to face with her own pokemon, "Okay, Khione. Being eager is fine but don't let your guard down okay. Let's have fun and win this okay buddy?" Lyssa says it to Khione while she answers with a nod. Khione stands tall in the arena waiting for the foe to come.

A Primarina? That was a water type, but he also thought that maybe it was a second type too...but he couldn't think about it. Kee got into position once they were called. Funnily enough, instead of using his name, the announcer used an alias on him. Probably because he was actually dressed up. The Prince. Cute. Kneeling down so that he was closer to Tyrunt's level, he met her own stare. "You got this. Roar is going to be useless, so we have to stick with our other tools. You ready?" His little dinosaur gave a two fingered salute, earning a few cutesy aw's.

As expected, the Absol was sent out first. Tyrunt ran in. The referee announced what Pokemon they were, and declared the beginning of the battle. He decided to start with range. And if Absol got close, lowering her defense might be the way to go. "Tyrunt, use Ancient Power!" A brown aura surrounded Tyrunt as she raised her head and gathered rocks into a white light. Then she fired it at Absol. There was also a one in five chance that it would raise Tyrunt's stats, but that didn't appear to have happened.

Khione stands gallantly in the arena, for a disaster pokemon - Khione feels like a knight in shining armor. Khione is not rushing to the battle, judging how Tyrunt will move. Tyrunt takes the first moves and launches a ball of rocks toward Absol as the result of Tyrunt's ANCIENT POWER. The attack comes fast which made Khione unable to evade it so she stands up gallantly and takes it like a champ. Dust collected around her but she quickly shakes it away ignoring the pain that she receives. It takes more than a single hit to defeat Khione after all. "Keep at it Khione!" Lyssa cheers, "Now let entertain the people here with the song of your people! Khione use PERISH SONG!" Lyssa declares with a raised arm like a general giving out an order.

Khione starts to howl as if he was singing, a morbid tune that brings the sense of the end approaching the pokemon who is listening to it. For someone who is stoic like Khione, she actually enjoys singing - As morbid as it is, the melody is beautiful. As the song ends, Tyrunt will faint soon if Keenan doesn't intervene in any way. "Khione, remember - Don't let your guard down!" Lyssa shouts reminding Khione to not be complacent.

Perish Song?! Kee's face was just that of absolute shock and confusion. That...should be something of a last resort, shouldn't it? Once he recovered from it, he decided to say something. "Bold move sacrificing your Absol just to take down Tyrunt. Ty, time is against us now, go, use Tackle!" Surely she didn't fear Tyrunt that much? Ancient Power was a mediocre powered move, and frankly not that strong with Tyrunt...her physical moves were much stronger and sharper. The little dinosaur ran in, and tried to Tackle the larger Pokemon. Ty wasn't particularly fast, nor was she slow either. Just kind of...average he guessed.

Still, taking a hit first was a good advantage, though Perish Song certainly put a damper on things. He'd wait to see if she was going to switch out to cancel the effects of her own move. If she wasn't, than this fight was going to be even more interesting.

His shock about her decision on using Perish Song is understandable. A normal trainer would have used that as a last resort but for Lyssa - There is no difference between using it at the beginning or on the end. "A dancer sometimes to incorporate a bold move on their dance to captivate people after all" Lyssa declares with a smile and looks at Khione meaningfully when Tyrunt starts to rush toward her to tackle the Absol. Unlike before, Khione is ready for it and she beautifully evades it by sidestepping making a distance between them.

"Khione, how about we do a duet dance with Tyrunt now? use DETECT and dance with his next move accordingly!"

Khione manages a distance between them and staring at Tyrunt, observing his movement to detect the movement that he will do so she can evade it beautifully. Lyssa understands that Khione is a proud fighter, her pride won't let her not use a move that she learns just because it might be cowardice or pose a threat to herself. That's the reason why Lyssa uses Perish Song at the beginning and tries to launch a counterattack on the next turn to finish this as soon as possible before the song effect starts.

So, her style was that of a dancer, and not a logical trainer. Well...he was sure there was some logic to it, it was still a bit odd. The Absol avoided the tackle, then used Detect. Well, there wasn't any real point in doing anything then. Well, actually, just maybe he could do something. It wouldn't be much, but should at least outlast Detect enough so he could attack the Absol again. "Ty, get in close, then use Tail Whip!" He didn't know if it'll still actually lower Khione's defense or not, but if nothing else, might just let Tyrunt to get close so he could transition right into another attack.

Tyrunt ran towards the other Pokemon, only to stop about four feet away. Then she started to wag her tail cutely. That elicited several aw's from the crowd. Ty was still a tiny dinosaur, so she was still so cute when she wanted to be. No matter how formal or militaristic she might get. Either way, hopefully the attack would do as intended, waste the Detect, and/or lower Absol's defense. Once it was done, it was time to strike! "Now, use Crunch!" Tyrunt immediately and swiftly turned on her heel and lunged with jaws wide open. Even though Crunch was a dark-type attack, Ty's strong jaw ability increased its power, so hopefully it would still do decent damage if it landed.

"Ab... soool!!!!" Khione cries in pain as she becomes the received end of the Tyrunt's crunch. Keenan beautifully nullify the detection of Khione with another move that caught Khione off guard. While she was able to evade the Tail Whip and escape the possibility of her defense got lowered, Tyrunt use the moment that she escape with a CRUNCH. From those moves alone, Lyssa is able to tell that Keenan is a talented trainer however - Lyssa also knows the tenacity of her own pokemon.

"Khione, hang in there!" Lyssa cheers from the sidelines, Khione stares at Lyssa filled with determination despite her side is on Tyrunt's jaw right now. Lyssa notices that Khione is still able to move the neck and above, which means... "Khione, retaliate with NIGHT SLASH!". With a limited movement, Khione unleashed a strong slash with dark energy from the blade on her head. She aim to the Tyrunt's leg hoping for him to release the jaw so she can step back. After that, the effect of Perish Song will start.
